I have known Anna since she was a baby and it’s hard to believe she’s actually a senior and headed off to college. (Her mom and I have been good friends for years, and bonded over the fact that we both have three girls and a boy as the youngest). It’s been a joy to watch Anna grow and become a very accomplished and poised young woman. She’s been a very quiet super star, and always seems to do everything exceptionally well. When I say she’s a quiet super star, it’s because she’s very humble and sweet. She would never tell you that she’s an Illinois State Scholar, NHS officer, on the math team, all conference in cross country, track, student council, selected as Senior of the Month for Mt. Zion, and awarded the Mt. Zion Chamber of Commerce scholarship. I can’t wait to see what she does in her four years at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. She was accepted into the honors program, of course. Good luck Anna!!
