It has been a rewarding year photographing these 40 high school seniors: all very bright, talented, fun, caring, compassionate, motivating, and obviously photogenic. They are from high schools all over Central Illinois and a few upstate: Mt. Zion, MacArthur, Maroa-Forsyth, Meridian, Warrensburg-Latham, LSA, Pana, Rochester, Springfield HS, Sacred Heart-Griffin, Lake Forest Academy and Illinois Science and Math Academy. They will be going to college at University of Illinois, Yale, Tulane, Southern Methodist University, San Diego State, Purdue, Kentucky, Lipscomb, Central Missouri, Mizzou, Iowa, Millikin, Loyola-Chicago, Illinois College, Illinois State, U of I- Springfield, SIU Edwardsville, St. Louis University, Richland CC, Lakeland CC and my alma mater DEPAUW UNIVERSITY! They are beyond talented, achieving a wide variety of impressive accomplishments in high school: state football champions and runners-up; state qualifiers in tennis, swimming, cross country, track; conference and regional champs in basketball, soccer, soft-ball and volleyball; journalism state qualifier; show choir grand champions, state barbershop and quartet champions, and dance competition winners; all-state music qualifier; Illinois State Scholars, National Honor Society, Science Bowl Olympiad, and an Eagle Scout. I know I left some out because the list is extensive. I am beyond proud of my seniors! Anyone who doubts the future leadership of our country has not worked with this age group. The future looks very bright. Good luck to all of you.
