Courtney has the best smile. It can light up a room, and for sure it lights up my camera. She has the cutest dimples. She has the sweetest disposition to match her smile, although I hear she can put on a great “game face” in both volleyball and softball. Courtney has played on both winning teams for Mt. Zion HS, including Regional Champs her senior year in volleyball, and State 3A Finals 2nd place her junior year in softball. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for a State Win this year! She’s a champion in the classroom too as a member of NHS and an Illinois State Scholar. Courtney gets her sweet attitude from her mom (sorry Dad, I didn’t get to meet you). I really enjoyed working with this family. Her mom actually cried, which of course made me cry, when we met to view her proofs from her session. They were tears of love and pride for her oldest daughter that is soon to go off to college. Shew-making me tear up just thinking about it. I’m sure today at Mt Zion’s graduation the tears will be flowing. However, another exciting chapter is about to begin. Courtney will be following her mother’s footsteps as a nurse and attend the Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University. Good luck Courtney and just keep smiling!
