Expressions from the soul are at the heart of what we do at Child’s Play Photography. We work really hard to use all our technical knowledge to provide the perfect lighting, working with strobes, soft boxes, reflectors, hair lights, umbrellas, spotlights, natural light, etc. In the end, irregardless of the most beautiful lighting on the planet, it’s really the subject’s expression that steals the show. So often that expression is LOVE: It’s sometimes silly, sometimes soft, sometimes smiley, sometimes smooches. We have the best job in the world capturing a child’s glowing smile, siblings’ happy huddles or a family’s loving embrace. For this reason, we are celebrating those soulful expressions the entire month of February (Valentine’s month) with a free 8×10 fine art print per session.
PS – Our fine art prints are actually one of my greatest obsessions and love affairs. They are created with a state of the art giclee printer using archival ink and printed on yummy fiber based rag paper. The edges can be hand torn, or “deckled,” for an antique or artistic touch. The end result is a gorgeous print that shows great detail yet soft subtle skin tones, deep and rich black and whites. They always surpass my expectations and enhance every image.
