Patience pays off. This young woman had to wait and wait (Covid crisis and then bad weather) for her senior photos, but we finally were able to get together a few weeks ago and get the job done. It was a picture perfect day at Allerton Park, and I couldn’t have had a more gorgeous model. She’s a natural! Gracey has learned to be flexible like most seniors and students this year. She’s looked forward to her Senior Recital at Studio B. Although each senior will be able to perform their solo, it will be video taped and played to a small family only audience. It’s not what she’s dreamed of since she starting dancing at age 4, but Gracey is thankful she can perform. She feels blessed that her poms season was pre-Covid so for the most part was able to complete that chapter. The same with graduation, where Mt. Zion HS held an alternative ceremony where each grad was able to walk the stage solo with only their parents in the auditorium. It’ s only fitting that this very patient woman has selected Early Childhood Education as her major. I can see her working with this important age group! Gracey will attend Millikin University next fall. Good luck Gracey! Thanks for waiting for your senior photos. I would not have wanted to miss this session for anything!
