Mikalya, Warrensburg HS ’17

I first met Mikalya when she was about four or five.  Her brother played hockey with my son, and she would run around the spectator stands during their games.  She was always adorable.  I had not seen her for a decade plus, and looked forward to remeeting her at our pre-session consultation.  I was not surprised that she is beautiful (her mom is very pretty and looks the same she did back then) but I was not expecting Mikalya to be this gorgeous.  Those eyes!  I had to only spend a couple minutes with this gal, however, when I realized her most attractive feature is her brain.  She’s super smart. (Side bar note: I have been blown away and so very proud of my senior girls this year that are beyond capable and smart and ready to lead the world!!). When I asked if she had an interest she wanted to incorporate into a few photos, she said yes “books.”  She reads all the time.  She is graduating from Warrensburg HS with honors and will be heading to Illinois State where she will pursue a double major in Business Management and Animal Science. I hope she comes back to visit me in another decade (and hopefully before then) so I can hear about all her accomplishments. I predict she will do big things. Good luck Mikalya!
